Chapter 15

On the drive home, Claire’s jeans seemed to shrink in size. Every time she lifted her foot to brake or accelerate, the thick denim seam massaged her groin in the most delicious way. She didn’t need the added stimulation. The sexy brunette sitting in the passenger seat, cradling a paddle in her lap, was more than enough to send her libido through the roof.

Thick black clouds loomed overhead as they crested a steep hill. The temperature was milder than the previous day. Brisk, but far from freezing.

Claire glanced at the clock on the dashboard. It was just after twelve. “We should be home in a little over half an hour.” If all went well and traffic remained light. “Need anything from town when we pass through?”

“No. I’m good.” Zoe replied without hesitation, her gaze fixed on the scenery as they sped by Hukarere Girls College and Zeelandt Brewery.

In a playful mood, Claire pressed on. “You sure? Nipple clamps? Ball gag? Labia stretchers?”

That earned a wide-eyed glare. “What happened to one thing at a time?” Zoe retorted.

Damn, Zoe had her there. Claire was only teasing and Zoe seemed to know it.

They both laughed.

Happiness rolled over Claire in thick waves. She reached over the console and squeezed Zoe’s thigh. “I’m glad we met.”

A beautiful smile lit up Zoe’s eyes. “So am I.”

Right on twelve-forty-five, Claire pulled into the driveway. “Home sweet home.” A fresh wave of anticipation pulsed between her legs when her mind filled with visions of a soon to be naked Zoe.

The second they rounded the last bend, and the cottage came into view, Zoe shot forward in her seat peering out the windscreen. “Oh my god, look.” She pointed, eyes big as saucers.

Claire flicked her gaze to the cottage. She couldn’t believe what she saw. Molly lay curled up fast asleep on the doormat. “Well, I’ll be damned.” Claire muttered to herself.

After shutting off the engine, Claire carefully released her seatbelt, worried any sudden noise or movement might spook the cat. “You go first,” she told Zoe. It only seemed fair since Zoe had been making the bigger effort to domesticate the cat. “I’ll wait here.”

Zoe nodded and opened the door so slowly it barely made a squeak. She bent low and crept forward, hand outstretched, rubbing her thumb across her fingers. “Hey girl. It’s okay. Come on.” Molly lifted her head, watching the approach.

Claire sat motionless, her heart in her throat, the words in her head screaming stay put Molly, Zoe won’t hurt you. By the time Zoe put her foot on the second step, Molly was on all four paws, her tail held high.

Zoe continued to talk in a low, coaxing voice. “Come on, sweetie.” The cat leaned forward, sniffed her fingers, relaxed and sat back on her haunches. Zoe stroked under her chin then sat on the top step. Her weight landed on a loose plank of wood and it let out an almighty groan. Molly jumped up and took off in a blinding flash of black and white.
